



WHO WE ARE
EFFA is a non-profit organization with the main role of building community awareness about the importance of managing plastic waste. EFFA believes that plastic waste is harmful to the environment if unmanaged properly. An effective plastic waste management action starts from the household and village levels.
WHERE WE ARE
EFFA is located in Bojong Gede District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Which is in the midst of residential areas with the main problem of low public awareness and knowledge about the dangers of unmanaged plastic waste accumulation.
WHAT WE DO
EFFA is present to establish communication, build village community awareness, and actively develop plastic waste management models through a group approach. EFFA believes that the presence of small groups is an effective and efficient strategy for influencing the community to take action in plastic waste management.
EFFA STRATEGY
EFFA started the action simply through the empowering community group. The activities are building communication, conducting training, and connecting community groups with the plastic waste management industry to sell recycled products. EFFA is optimistic that managed plastic waste will become usable things and reduce environmental problems.
